Our Board of Directors
The Vidalia Woman’s Club is a vibrant group of women dedicated to the betterment of our community through civic service. Our club was founded in 1921 by a group of young women who wanted to make a difference in their immediate community and around the world. Our volunteer work covers: Arts, Conservation, Education, Home Life, Public Affairs, & Tallulah Falls School.
The original inspiration continues today as our women are involved in service and volunteerism. At the same time these activities provide members with the opportunity for personal growth, development of leadership skills and fellowship.
Our club is a non-profit organization open to women eighteen years of age and older who want to make a difference in the community. Clubwomen are encouraged to get involved in areas like:

There is something for everyone who becomes a member of the Woman’s Club.
Some of the local Organizations we support include:
The Refuge for Domestic Violence, The local United Way, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, the Boys and Girls Club, Hand to Hand Heart to Heart, the Red Cross, the Public library and many other worthy causes.
Each year we give an educational college scholarship to two worthy graduating seniors.
Our Club also supports the Tallulah Falls School, located in Northern Georgia. The school has been owned and operated by the Georgia Federation of Woman's Clubs since 1909 when it was founded by Mary Ann Lipscomb, President of GaFWC.
Our main fund raiser is the Vidalia Arts & Crafts Festival which is held each April or May. It is a large project but is a lot of fun and provides the club the opportunity to financially maintain our clubhouse and donated funds to so many worthy causes in our area. |
